The donation of 2 couches to the Pacing Clinic is in appreciation of the care received by patients.
The Surrey Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Club [ICDC] arranged a Commemoration event at the Pacing Clinic St Peters Hospital, Chertsey Surrey on the 28th February at 5.30 pm.
It was an opportunity to commemorate the donations kindly received on behalf of Graham Skelding, from family and friends- Graham was former chair of ICDC Surrey. Hesadly passed away on 21st February 2016 and ICDC Surrey in its 10th Anniversary.
Margaret Skelding and Dr Ian Beeton thanked everyone for their continued support and commitment.
Margaret Skelding said “Graham was committed to developing ICDC Surrey because he felt he wanted to support both the hospital and patients. The professional care he received enabled him to live a normal life and he greatly appreciated all the medical care that he received from the Cardiology Unit at St. Peters.”
Dr. Ian Beeton Cardiogist said “St. Peters Hospital is very grateful to ICDC Surrey and Margaret and family and friends for the funeral donation to enable the purchase of much needed couches as a legacy in Graham’s memory.”

ICDC Surrey is the Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) Club now in its 10th year. It is a Patient cardiac support group founded in 2006. It
provides support for all people with ICDs, their partners and families -to discuss their concerns and share experiences. It also organises Education and social events. Members include patients, carers & clinical staff, who work in partnership for the benefit of their family & friends.
